Illustrated talk and tour of of the the musical instruments collection at the Powerhouse Museum.

The Powerhouse Museum has Australia's foremost collection of musical instruments. The collection includes many early Australian made instruments including one of the earliest surviving Australian made pianos, a pianoforte made by John Benham of Sydney, circa 1835. Michael Lea, curator at the PHM will be giving an illustrated talk as part of the tour of the collection.

The talk and tour is confirmed for Saturday, 29th September 2012, 2pm - 4.30pm.

There is a small charge of $30 per person (includes entry to the museum) for attending the event.
(Afternoon tea can be purchased at the Museum cafe)
