Australiana Society Event & AGM

Event & AGM is now confirmed.

Please join us for a very special evening of Australiana, hosted generously by Stuart Purves of the Australian Galleries in Sydney.

The order of events:

1. The evening will start with a viewing and tour of the newly opened exhibition by classically-influenced portrait and interior painter, Francis Giacco. Francis Giacco trained at the Julian Ashton School Sydney and in Vienna, and in 1993 won the Archibald Prize with his work ‘Homage to John Reichhard’.

   
   

2. The Australiana Society AGM for 2013
   

   
   

3. Show & tell on the theme of the waratah - all members are invited to bring along an example of an item of decorative or fine art that features a waratah for our show & tell session. Come armed with your waratahs and stories!

Refreshments will be provided. Ample street parking available.
