The launch of The Tasmanian Chapter will be held during the early evening on Friday, 11 November at Runnymede.
The official launch will be opened by the Hon. Dr Vanessa Goodwin MLC Minister for the Arts and our keynote speaker Dr Jim Bertouch, president of the Australiana Society, will speak on “Bringing tea to the colonies and the exquisite Colonial boxes that housed it”.
Light refreshments of canapes and Tasmanian wines will be provided during the evening.
Interstate members are encouraged to attend should you be in Hobart at the time or plan a long weekend away and combine it with visits to places of interest such as MONA, TMAG, and the many historic houses.
Invitations have been emailed to all members.
