Joint Meeting with the Ceramic Collectors Society

The presidents of both the Australiana Society and the Ceramic Collectors Society have agreed to a further joint meeting to be held this year. This event will be hosted by the Ceramic Collectors Society at a meeting on Monday evening the 22nd of October. Details are advised below.

All members and their guests are welcome to attend the meeting. At this meeting will be a talk by Donna Bray, librarian and curator in the Mosman Museum and Art Gallery:

"Mid-Twentieth Century Design in Mosman: Ceramics, Textiles and Jewellery".

Donna will speak about the potters and other artists who worked in the harbour-side Sydney suburb of Mosman in the 1950s and 1960s. A show and tell of Australiana themed ceramic ware and other items from the 1950s and 60s will follow.

A similar event occurred last year between the Australiana Society and the Ceramic Collectors Society and was very well attended.
