Special preview of ‘The Dale Frank Collection of Early Colonial Furniture’

Bonhams Australia have generously invited all Australiana Society (and Furniture History Society) members to attend a special viewing of the Dale Frank collection before it goes to auction. The collection consists of 40 select pieces of early Australian Colonial furniture including:
* a rare early cedar breakfast table circa 1820-25
* a birds-eye huon pine half tester bed circa 1873
* a casuarina and cedar chest of drawers attributed to
   Lawrence Butler circa 1810
* a cedar Pembroke extension dining table with three extra
   leaves circa 1830
* a cedar cumberland action dining table circa 1825
* a cedar secretaire bookcase circa 1835
