The guest speaker will be Queensland member Bob Fredman
In 2006 and again in November 2020 Bob wrote articles for the Australiana magazine
on the discovery of an important cedar and eucalyptus sofa that was found in Launceston, Tasmania.
We will discover first-hand the research that went into the sofa and the journey to determine decisions around
how far to go in repair and restoration. This will be interesting information for all collectors.
$150 / head includes 3 courses and wine with one
of the finest views of Sydney Harbour.
This dinner and lecture is part of the upcoming Sydney Basin Tour and is already included in the 4- day
itinerary and cost.
