Subscription to Australiana

Four issues of our 60 pages quarterly illustrated magazine Australiana, with in-depth articles on a range of Australiana collectables (see MAGAZINE for topics in recent issues), and news and reviews of exhibitions, books and events.

Members' Events

Invitations to Australiana talks and excursions during the year, mostly held in Sydney but also in Hobart, Melbourne and Brisbane. Invitations to the annual dinner and lecture. Members are welcome to bring guests to general meetings (excursions may be restricted for privacy and security).

Symposium

Our first Australiana symposium was held in 2001 at Old Government House, Sydney, and attended by over 100 delegates. In 2019, we celebrated the end of our 40th year by holding a special three day symposium Made in Australia on Australiana and Australian decorative arts at the State Library of NSW.

Your subscription may be a tax deductible if you are a dealer or auctioneer - if collecting, researching or preservation of Australiana is relevant to your business or work, for instance as a curator you are collecting Australiana as part of your superannuation fund.

Donations are tax deductible

The Australiana Society is a 'Deductible Gift Recipient' and donations to the Society are tax deductible.
